I tried this harness on my dog and it fit him just fine, but it became clear that he didn't like it, he was chewing on the straps and then I took it off of him and he was happy all over again. At the time when I brought this harness I was thinking about my dog's safety and making sure he doesn't get injured.

I checked out all the dog seatbelts available in every pet store in my area and they all seemed very cheaply made. I decided to order this one because it looked very sturdy and well padded in the photo. The product is very well made and easy to use (easy to adjust for a perfect fit and quickly attaches to my van's seatbelt) and the padding adds a level of comfort for my dog especially if I need to brake suddenly. My only complaint is that the tether that attaches to my car's seatbelt is not adjustable, as is, it seems a little short for my big dog when it attaches to the lap belt but when it is attached to the shoulder belt it gives her too much freedom to move around. I guess it's a mute point since my dog doesn't seem to mind!

I have a big dog and that means it is impossible to take him anywhere since hes so overpowering. so you can imagine how it would be to take him to the groomers let alone the vet in the car. Since i purcased this doggie seat belt i used and it held him in place, my 85 lb german shepard was allowed certain range of motion but other than that it did its job! i wasnt worried about him jumping up to the front seat from the back, which is a big stuggle we tend to have when we go "bye bye". Good product!

This is a sturdy product! Im just glad someone came up with such a wonderful product that will keep by puppy safe if the inevitable were to happen!
